Sugar production reached 1.24 million tons in the first half of November. Since the beginning of the 2020/2021 harvest up to November 16, accumulated sugar production reached 37.66 million tons. Over the same period of 2019/2020 cycle, the accumulated sugar production was 26.07 million tons.
The volume of ethanol produced reached 1.18 billion liters in the first half of November, with 498.77 million liters of anhydrous ethanol and 680.91 million liters of hydrous ethanol. The accumulated production of ethanol reached 28.29 billion liters, with 9.05 billion liters of anhydrous ethanol and 19.25 billion liters of hydrous ethanol. Of the total fuel produced, 1,52 billion liters of biofuel were produced from corn.
